About Our Financial Education Centre

Dedicated to building financial literacy across generations in Liverpool

Our Story

What began as community workshops in a small Liverpool meeting room has grown into a dedicated education centre serving hundreds of students each year. We recognised that financial literacy was often overlooked in traditional education, leaving many people to navigate complex money decisions without proper guidance.

Since 2019, we have developed structured programmes that address this gap. Our approach combines academic rigour with practical application, ensuring that every concept taught can be immediately applied to real-life situations.

We serve students from all backgrounds and age groups, from primary school children learning their first budgeting skills to retirees planning their financial future. Each programme is designed with the specific needs and circumstances of its audience in mind.

Our Values

The principles that guide everything we do

Accessibility

Financial education should not be exclusive to those who already have wealth. We work to make our programmes affordable and available to anyone seeking to improve their financial knowledge.

Practical Focus

Theory without application serves no purpose. Every lesson includes exercises and examples drawn from real financial situations our students encounter in daily life.

Honesty

We present financial concepts without hype or unrealistic promises. Managing money well is about consistent good habits, not quick fixes or secret techniques.

Lifelong Learning

Financial circumstances evolve throughout life. We encourage students to view financial education as an ongoing process rather than a one-time course.

Our Teaching Approach

We believe that effective financial education requires more than lectures and textbooks. Our instructors use interactive exercises, case studies, and group discussions to ensure concepts are truly understood.

Small Class Sizes

Maximum of 12 students per session allows for individual attention and meaningful discussion.

Hands-On Exercises

Work with real spreadsheets, budgets, and financial scenarios during every session.

Ongoing Support

Course graduates can attend monthly review sessions at no additional cost.
